Dr. Michael Judkins, OD

Dr. Michael Judkins was raised in Layton Utah and attended Weber State University. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1999.

Dr. Judkins has been in private practice in South Ogden since 1999. He enjoys providing personalized primary eye care including traditional optometric services such as eyeglasses and contact lenses. Dr. Judkins is also trained in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease such as glaucoma, conjunctivitis “pink eye”, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eyes and co-management of LASIK. He works closely with local surgeons and specialists and is able to refer patients to the correct doctor if needed.

Additionally, Dr. Judkins provides low vision services to help patients with vision loss. This is an area he enjoys and provides low vision services to students all over Utah through the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind.

Dr. Judkins is a member of the American Optometric Association and has served as a board member of the Utah Optometric Association as well as President. He currently represents Utah in The Great Western Council of Optometry (GWCO), a thirteen state organization giving Western States a voice in the optometric profession. Dr. Judkins is an active member of the Ogden Breakfast Exchange Club as well as a past president.

He enjoys outdoor activities and family vacations with his wife and three children.

Frank L. Salimeno, OD

Dr. Salimeno is no longer actively seeing patients and will be missed by his long term patients and staff at Promontory Family Vision.

Dr. Frank L. Salimeno was raised and education in Ogden. Graduating from Ogden High School and receiving a Bachelors Degree (B.S.) from Weber State University in 1965. He went on for the Doctor of Optometry Degree (O.D.) from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 1969. After graduation he entered the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps with a rank of Captain and Chief at the Eye Clinic for the US Army Hospital Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal on completion of his service in the US Army. He then entered private practice in 1972. He has practiced optometry in Ogden for 40 years.

He has served as president of the Utah Optometric Association and has received the Optometrist of the Year Award, twice. He has served on the Utah Optometry Licensing Committee under the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. He is a past president of the Association of Regulatory Boards in Optometry (ARBO) and a past president of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO).

Dr. Salimeno is a Life Member of the American Optometric Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is certified in Diagnosis, Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He provides general eye and vision care and pre and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery management.

He is married to Linda K. Salimeno and they have four children and six grand children. He and his wife Linda are semi-retired and have homes here in Ogden as well as Green Valley, Arizona.

Debbie has been with Promontory Family Vision for 11 years and has worked in all aspects of the office. She lives in Ogden with her husband Claude and enjoys traveling to Georgia to visit their daughter, son in-law and their two grandchildren. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her youngest daughter who now lives in Salt Lake City. In her spare time, she likes to craft, garden and shop

Tessa – Optician

Tessa has been with Promontory for 3 years. She was in retail management for 15 years before joining the optical industry. She loves helping patients find the perfect frame that fits their personality. She grew up in the Ogden area and now resides in Syracuse with her husband and their three young children. Outside of the office she enjoys camping with her family and supporting her children in sports and competition tumbling. She also enjoys hiking with her family, spending time outdoors, going to the movies and she loves baking!

Outside of the office she enjoys camping with her family and supporting her children in sports and competition tumbling. Jenn has been with the staff for 2 years. She grew up in Roy and now resides in Syracuse with her
Husband and three young children.

Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and watching her
boys play baseball.
